In Praise of 30 Rock and Tina Fey again

I know I'm all over 30 Rock's Jock, and I'd like to snuggle Tina Fey. But she gets credit for getting work for Tracy Morgan, who I thought was hilarious on SNL, and nothing was funnier than Astronaut Jones. This brilliant little 2 minutes were buried under 90 minutes of dreck, often, so I imagine they have gone unseen by many folks. The levels of satire here are deep, and I think one could write a pretty interesting paper on Astronaut Jones, and all the very American things being mined and made of here. But the important thing is that it is actually funny satire (hear that, Mallard Fillmore?).

Jesus Big BM, did you just make a reference to "Mallard Fillmore?"

You're bringing me down, man.

You know what? "Kathy" isn't so edgy anymore, and I haven't laughed at "Mary Worth" in a coon's age.
